There are not many things that really bother me to the point of needing to write about it.
But, one of those things is how lazy people are when it comes to feeding themselves. I grew up in a house where my dad was really cheap, I mean VERY cheap. Like, wash your paper plate cheap. Now, in today’s world, recycling is finally cool so I guess he was ahead of his time. But with him in my head all the time, I really get upset when I see stuff in the store that is so easy to make at home but people are willing to pay money to buy it. It is usually over priced, over packaged and way too convenient. Water is one of those things.
We live in one of the wettest places on the planet, so buying water seems crazy. I do buy water. Yup, it’s sometimes just about convenience. I also buy it because I am not a fan of all of the additives that the city puts into our water. But flavoured water is way too easy to make at home to pay so much in the store.
Take the time to read up a little and try some homemade options for some great summer drinks. It really is easier than you think.
