This seems to me to be a very typical view of us Canadians and I can actually say that most of these points don’t apply to us. Partly because we are located on the west coast of the country and we are the only part of the country that doesn’t get the awful winters that the rest of the country gets. Also, comparing Manitoba to the rest of Canada is like comparing Florida to Minnesota. Ok, that may be a little extreme, sorry.
Travel is really good for the mind, body, and soul. You learn so much that it is hard to put into words. You learn about different food, people, culture, weather, traditions, and of course language. You don’t have to go far to notice the difference, even from one town to the next, there are differences.
Get out of your own back yard and experience something new, somewhere new. Expand your mind, you will be surprised what you will learn.
