Workout for A Cause

We talk all about making sure that you are doing what is right for you.

Making sure that you are feeling good and doing good. We talk about eating foods that make you heal yourself and are preventative. We talk about making sure your heart and soul are in the right place. Eating right and getting out and getting your body moving so that you are doing all you can to stay and be healthy. It’s time to think about someone other than yourself.

If you can’t seem to find the right reason to get in gear, do it for someone else. Locally we are preparing for a fun event to raise funds for our local cancer foundation. The Workout to Conquer Cancer is a way to go get active and raise money for a very worthy cause. But it is in Vancouver, and you are not??? So what! Every town has a hospital, women’s shelter, SPCA, Rotary, multiple churches, youth groups, and or … name it. There are so many charities out there and they are all looking for ways to raise money. If they are doing a run, walk, workout, physical event, then you do it. Getting involved in your community is good for you in more ways than the financial gain to the charity. It is good for your soul.

Get active and raise money for a worthy cause. The rewards are enormous.

Even though I'm not running anymore, we still have to try to find a cure for cancer. Other people should go ahead and try to do their own thing now. –
