This happens to be one of the most important things that we need to understand and I am really bad at this.
This happens to be one of my biggest faults. I will go for hours without noticing that I should have eaten hours ago. Then will sit to one of my favorite meals and gorge myself as if I will never eat again. We, as a culture, have become way too dependent on our moods to determine when, what, and how much we eat. As babies, eating is simple, when you are hungry you cry and eat. When your are full you stop. But, somewhere along the line we have stopped listening to that part of our brain and we overthink the whole eating process.
Please take the time to read this article and then spend some time paying attention to when, what, and how much you eat. Sometimes it’s these little details that can make all the difference.
